Why hemp?

8000Kicks backpacks are made from industrial hemp, a sativa branch, known as the sober cousin of marijuana.
Industrial hemp has been used since 8000 BC, and its properties include being anti-bacterial, needing no fertilizers and almost no water to grow, hemp also cleans and restores the nutrients in the soil, and it is also very durable. In fact, Hemp is so strong that Henry Ford even built a car out of it.

The 8000Kicks team has been working on this backpack for 2 years and its waterproofing features. The outer hemp layer has been coated with a proprietary organic wax that protects the fabric from stains, liquids and dust particles. On the hemp inner side, just below the fabric there’s a waterproof membrane that guarantees maximum protection and that no liquids will come in.

The YKK zippers are the most recognized for having the best quality in the market and guarantee the effectiveness and durability of the hemp backpack.

Flexible Storage from 18L to 45L

The 8000kicks NOMAD backpack ranges from a stylish discrete 18L workweek format to a full-size 45L sizing for holiday or camping trip. All these thanks to the foldable top, expandable bottom, adjustable length and the attachable front bag.

Divided into 2, the interior features a clothing compartment (with a net zipper closure) and a tech compartment (that includes a 16 inch laptop padding).
